Sinophone Cinema Trust (SCT) is a UK-based Community Interest Company founded to bring people together around Chinese-language films across time and the regions that made and carried them, Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China, and the global diaspora.

A special interest and advantage of STC is access to commercial Sinophone films from decades past. This is a particular field that has historically received insufficient archival preservation and scholarly attention relative to its cultural significance, notably for domestic audiences from origins of the films.

For the generations before ours, they have yet to benefit from digitalisation of imageries that accompanied their formative years. STC is committed to rediscover the visual culture that were a part of millions of domestic lives; a film they visited on a family outing, picked for a first date, set off a streak of inspirations, the films that built bygone collective memories.
